Seal Engineering AS is a Norwegian, privately held corporation established under the name Seal-Jet Norge AS in 1997. We are dedicated to finding the best sealing solutions, and we stay up to date on the latest technology, which takes materials and designs to the next level. In recent years, we have made extensive investments in a materials laboratory, production facilities, and FEA equipment to develop groundbreaking sealing solutions for robust systems in the petroleum and renewable energy markets.

We possess cutting-edge expertise in seals and sealing materials and operate a materials laboratory equipped with advanced testing equipment. Our experts conduct tests and analyses to determine, for example, the causes of failures.

Through our investment in R&D, we have excellent control over the composition and properties of the materials.

We also have testing facilities on-site, which means we can test and pre-qualify sealing solutions under realistic conditions—such as pressure, chemical exposure, and temperature.

We primarily manufacture our products on specially developed CNC machines and keep a wide selection of semi-finished materials in stock. This enables us to produce a sealing product very quickly, without additional tooling costs or delays in intermediate products.

Machining offers unmatched flexibility in material selection, shape, geometry, dimensions, and tolerances—in short, the sealing product can be tailored to the customer’s specific needs!
